Microsoft wanted to leverage frog's integrated industrial and digital disciplines. I was the design lead for the cross discipline team producing studies for the WindowsXP Start button and Windows Media Player skins.
From industrial design sketching to rendering in Alias Wavefront to finessing and finalizing in Photoshop for the media player skins, the team collaborated for an iconic result. Ultimately we created a hardware model to keep with frog's industrial design tradition.

In 2003, the Microsoft Tablet PC Design group asked frog to explore advanced pen interactions for the Tablet PC. We concepted advanced windows controls that considered the gross and fine motor movement of using a pen on a tablet. We produced a pen-aware, interactive demo and a movie to showcase the work.
